If you have not seen much activity in my website lately, it is because Fr. Joel and I were packing our belongings and making a major move in our ministry. My pastor was being transferred this past month to become the fourth pastor of Our Lady of the Sierra parish in Oakhurst, CA. Since I have come out West to be a retired assistant to him, I moved too. From the southern mountains of the diocese of Fresno to the northern mountains, from Tehachapi Mtns. in Kern County to Yosemite National Park entrance.
I look forward to spending my continued retired years serving this parish we have recently moved to. We are still unpacking hoodles of boxes and packages. I expect to be back in full swing soon. Keep watching and I will give you new pages rising from the life here in Oakhurst, North Fork and Bass Lake along with Our Lady of the Snows in Yosemite. It sounds exciting and I have already fallen in love with the community and find them to be a relaxed people with a vibrant heart.
Until then, keep looking for me and my update homilies beginning next week.
